Trash may be placed outside no earlier than 5:00PM on the day before pickup in covered trash barrels and those barrels must be removed no later than 11:00PM on the day of pickup. Plastic bags may be used. Waste Management collects trash on all Wednesdays, excluding Holidays. Trash barrels and recycle totes must be stored inside the garage or unit after pick-up. If trash barrels are knocked over or trash bags are ripped open before pickup, individual unit owners are responsible for picking up their own trash.
No furniture, mattresses, textiles, household hazardous waste, electronics, etc. are allowed with regular Trash.
NOTE: If a State of Emergency is declared for Massachusetts, Waste Management will not pick up. They will resume pickup when the State of Emergency has been lifted.
NOTE: If you have large bulk items to be picked up, you need to make the proper arrangements with Waste Management at 800-443-5515. There is a charge per item for collection that is the unit owner's responsibility.
NOTE: After the Christmas Holidays, Christmas Tree pickups will not be done by our curbside trash contractor. The City of Lowell provides residents with Christmas Tree drop-off disposal sites and residents are instructed to contact the City of Lowell during this time (via phone or website) for instructions and directions to dispose of your Christmas tree.
The Association does not handle ‘recycling’ and is designated for ‘trash’ pickup only. You will need to dispose of all recycling yourself.
